Keith,

I've just installed a Netgear PS101 1 port print server onto an old LJ 4MV
as it was parallel only (there was, however, a big hole in the back where
the JetDirect card used to be :-(( )

http://www.misco.co.uk/productinformation/42942/WW/NETGEAR_1_X_PARALLEL_PORT_PRINT_SERVER_WITH_10100_BASETX_LAN_PORT/index.htm

It was relatively quick to install, although I'm still not 100% I've done
it correctly on the admin machine. You set one up to have admin rights and
the remaining PCs on the network only need a small bit of driver software
to talk to the server. The client PCs can be set up really quickly and the
interface looks as expected. I need to revisit the admin PC, but I think
it's me, not the product that may have done something dumb.

On the basis of <1 week's experience I'd get another Netgear server :-)

HTH,

Tim H.
