Could be an earth leak - get BT to check the line. There is no reason
whatsoever why callerID should not work with DSL.

Of cause I once whitnessed four DSL filters in series and the user could
not
understand why the phones or DSL did not work.

Also things like phone surge protectors don't help etc, try putting your
CallerID hardware in the master socket.
