I moved my BT socket out of the hall-way and into the lounge ... including
moving the wiring on the outside wall

If BT had cause to make a visit to my house do you think anything would
come
of it ?

I think the official line is that BT own all the wiring up
to and including
the the master socket.

Normally on the master socket is a seperate connector where
extensions can
be added, this is the start
of the user accessible part.

I think a rerouting of the drop wire *should* require BT to
do it, I'm suire
