This is how I back up and restore PCs and laptops (although I use PQ Drive
Image). For the 'DOS' driver to do the bare-metal restore, look for Windows
3.11 for Workgroups drivers. If you go this route and need more info, let

know.

I've done that Dean, using ghost in a dos box, you can ghost to an image
on
a mapped drive,- but worked for me.

Getting the image back onto the laptop is a bit trickier, mostly in the
creation of a dos boot disk that activates the network card in the laptop.
If its a pcmcia card its a fiddle, but definately possible.
