Thanks for all the replies guys. Not sure why my message took so long to
get to the board. However, after I rang back BT and asked them for
details of how to make an official complaint so that I could pass it on
to the ombudsman, all of a sudden they realised that they could offer me
the business BB service on the residential line. Of course I politely
refused and told them I would be using an alternative BB provider one I
had the residential line installed ;-)
