Keith,

I presumed it just mixed the audio inputs as well.
However, I just thought it could be a bit misleading/confusing to someone
who doesn't know any better (i.e me!).

I dont think so. From the description...

"Mono/Stereo audio + composite video line IN
Modulated RF signal OUT"

I think the reference to Stereo IN simply means that it has two phono
sockets for audio. It almost certainly just mixes the two channels to
mono ready for modulation.
