Cheap DVD burner

eBuyer have got the Tosh SD-R5112 at =A352 inc. VAT.  Is this a good deal?
I've read a few reviews, and other than being a bit fussy over the media,

seems to do quite well.  I only need it for data backup, and maybe the odd

ahem- backup of films.  Do DVD-R disks play back happily in most DVDs?
Sorry for the lazy questions, I'm of to search Google now, but feel free to
comment if you have any views...
