Right, that prompted me to waste an hour of my life on the phone to BT, BT
Wholesale and BT Broadband.  Put simply I can't have an engineer to test my
line unless they place an order for me to buy Broadband from them - which I
am desperate enough to do.  They can't place an order because their
availability database shows I might not be able to have it.  The only way
to be sure which side of the divide I reside is to have an engineer come
and test the line, but I can't get an engineer....... GOTO 10
