Dell DAR and HUB problem

Wondered if anyone had any ideas as to my problem with the DELL DAR.

If I connect directly to my server (XP Pro) with a cross over patch
cable every thing works great.

If I connect using standard pre made (used for other things so I'm
sure there OK) Belkin patch cables and a Netgear FE104 hub, I get
nothing. I have the link light on the DAR but none showing for that
port on the hub.

The hub works fine for my LAN and I've tried pluging the DAR into
different ports.

I've also tried Audio Receiver Manager 1.01, 1.03 and 1.04. Still the
same.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dave
