Just three "easy access" slots - usually just have a bit more
space either
side (like a parent with child parking bay) so you can get your fingers to
those discs easier.
No idea on timeframe though - it was just something I was told by someone
who I would usually expect to have reasonable information (but he works for
a rival company that *ISN'T* Kenwood!)
