The plus in these sort of things lets you have extra discs to chuck in -
eg rentals, or loans from people. The Sony 300+1 that I have has a spare
space in the carousel for the +1 which means you need to stop the player
and open it, but ISTR the Kenwood +3 are seperate from the carousel, so
you can add and remove them while playing another disc, and without
disturbing the carousel.
