I've used all the methods listed below, they do take a long time though...
And are quite long winded, but do produce excellent results :-)

Well as the screen is only 320x240 it seems crazy to use a full-sized rip.
I found a method on the net, but it involved about a dozen steps and I
figure there must be an easier way.  I have a 1GB Microdrive, so I would
expect to be able to get a movie onto it.

Interested in this too.

Mate gave me a few episodes of Thunder Birds last year he had done for his
iPAQ.  He had them on one of those 4gig Tosh PCMCIA cards.  I only have
256meg SD card in my iPAQ so need something smaller.
