Sounds like it could be linked to a Browser Helper Object, I had one when I
installed MSN Messenger Plus (yes, I clicked OK to the "Install
Sponsor
Program" option. divvy). Have a look for BHODemon utility. That, in
conjunction with Spybot and AdAware I think covers all bases.
