I learned to program assembler at uni on QLs!

And Ian still has his spectrums, and I still have my C64, with its dodgy
tape drive that wouldn't always load a game after 15 mins and you would
have
to rewind it and put it on again ...

That being said, we were shown 8 inch floppy disks in the History of
Computing class.

How things have progressed.

Oh, and looking at the list of computers on that site ... the Dragon 64 is
listed ... the gents responsible for that are (or were) lecturers at
Strathclyde Uni during my degree.
