I sent them an email asking exactly the same thing, and they phoned me
back within minutes and we did a phone order.  I've not seen any technical
details of the control unit online, but could try to answer any questions
you have on it:

Small unit, size of a wallet, professionally made (surface mount
components, machined box).  Unit has connections for power (10-30v), the
three connections to the output of the relay (common, c, nc), then the
Input pin and IO pin as previously mentioned.  There is a test switch on
the board and a couple of status LED's (it doesn't have a sounder).

It takes a few seconds from triggering the board to the remote detectors
sounding, but the board seems to constantly send the radio signal when
triggered, so the remote detectors are not likely to miss it.  There is
also a delay of a second or so from triggering a detector to the control
unit triggering its relay.
