It was a week's work for two guys (and they worked until very
late most evenings). Don't under estimate!

I used Ben's supplier for the CBus kit, cost
between =A32k and =A33k after a very good discount. Mark, your
estimate of twelve rooms with two lights each is probably
fairly close to what I have.

Comfort with lots of expansion boards, UCMs etc was around 2k.=20
Same deal here, I got the initial work of replacing the
existing alarm panel with Comfort and getting the system
up and running done by an installer. All the rest of the
HA stuff I have done myself.

All made easier by LOTS of forward planning. When Ben arrived,
there was already a written plan of exactly what cables needed to
go where for the future. So far, the planning has paid off.

For example, Kat5 modules now extend the Sky signal from the lounge=20
to a study and a bedroom - two patch leads in the garage, job done.

Finally, I would heartily recommend Ben (no connections, just a=20
satisfied customer, etc, etc). He and Mikey worked extremely hard=20
and long. There were plenty of opportunities to cut corners - none=20
were taken, they spent extra time to make sure the job was
"good"=20
and not just "ok".
