It certainly focuses effort on a date with much burning of the midnight
oil.

Agreed. The bulk (this in no way refers to physical stature of attendees!)
of the visitors definately attend on the Saturday and because of the long
distances people have to travel home and the fact they have work on Monday,
Sundays smaller attendance starts to fizzle out just after lunch.

Agreed. I have far more interest in building HA kit as the pro kit is out
of
my budget as well.

Having said that, last year I was so busy on my own stand that I didnt
really get much chance to look at the stuff I was interested in but that
was
still more than I would be able to do at a proper commercial show.
