Rob,

I have a proper slide scanner which I bought ages ago and have hardly used
... It is currently on loan to a friend but you are more than welcome to
borrow it to scan your slides in if you wish. (Saves you the expense of
buying one.)

Drop me a mail back if you're interested. (You'll need SCSI on your PC or
if
you don't have SCSI then I probably have a spare SCSI card or two around.)
