Chris

This does sound very expensive, unless every cable is going to be hidden,
etc!

I have a Karizma (http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TSKCP30KP.html)
system with every window alarmed, PIRs, doors, etc. The system is
monitored. All the bits cost me about =A3800 and I did work with the alarm
company (eg I fed all the cables!). I suppose its down to quality of the
installation and what you are prepared to do yourself!

Hi All,

I've just been quoted =A34500 to install an alarm system in our new house
(=
4
bedroom semi).

It consists of a Honeywell Galaxy 60 Control Panel
2 Keypads
External and internal sounder
12 Window Sensors
4 Smoke alarms
Panic Button
6 Pirs

Seems a lot to me - or is this normal - any comments ?

Further has anyone got any comments on monitored alarms ?

Thanks
Chris
