Okay, looking at the comments (and as expected) more Cat5 is needed. Sounds
like another run of 4 to each bedroom (make 8 ports), another drop into the
Kitchen (making 4 ports), another drop into the Utility for future garage
expansion. The link between the two Node0's needs to be investigated some
more. As for some of the other ideas, I'm using C-Bus for the entire house,
so there will be quite a bit of non-grey Cat5 going in. The alarm will be
using 8-core screened cable, so no worries there but still loads of it to
go
as I have every door and window wired along with various PIR sensors.
