That really depends on who you talk to, also important to note is where you
measure the temperature........

If you've got any Dell hardware, your warranty becomes void at 35C

UPS's for example, we're having some very big UPS installed at work.
Optimum
operating temp is 21C, with battery life halved for every 10C you go above
this......

So at 50C your 5 year battery life is down to about 1year 3months.
