That's a very large number of very small pins to surface-mount solder.....
I've seen my efforts of soldering 'hole components'. It's not pretty.

Bahhh, chicken. Take a look at the chip on your network card next you have
one out. On average they are about 100 pins!! It takes me about two and a
half minutes to solder that lot once it is positioned. It also took me a
while and a couple of scrap chips to perfect the technique of course.

I am in the planning stage of building my own SMT oven at the moment. I am
going to need this soon as my current design has over 900 solder joints of
which only about 35 are through hole ;-)) I think I would go quietly mad
doing that lot more than once a month or so.
