RE: [OT] Samsung Plasma
:-))))))
I got a Sim 2 projector ..
I tested a lot of projectors before we got this one.
Regarding feeding a good source to a Plasma or LCD, does it still provide
superb pictures in fast moving sequences?
The problem is for daily at the moment you cannot always have the best
source i.e. DVD. So for practical daily use plasma and lcd does not cut it.
Though of course when we get hidef TV that will all change. But by that
time
technology would have advanced considerably I would imagine.

I was always *VERY* susceptible to noticing "the rainbow effect"
on DLPs but
I saw a SIM2 Domino 20H a few weeks ago and I was extremely impressed by it
- in fact I found it very difficult to force it to happen (by looking
around
the image quickly).
DLP and LCD technology has advanced *HUGELY* this last 18 months or so -
plasma (in my opinion) less so. I would now seriously consider one of the
Domino 20H projectors for my own use.
