You can do the install yourself, swapping out an LNB is simple - sky+ will
work with just one.

ebay - I did this and it went faulty - cost me £69 quid through Sky to have
it fixed

upgrade the disk - there is still the 17minute issue so don't bother - you
will loose too many recordings

recording: you need the subscription to record, or if you have movies or
sport, it is free.

On reflection if I was buying sky+ now, I would get sky to do everything,
you then get a gurantee.
