Hang fire on any review updates on Homeseer, since it is currently
undergoing a *MAJOR* re-write as a componentised .NET application.

The automation engine is being separated from the UI, and the engine
will run as a service. The UI will be web-based only. Other components
are being split out so that they can be a) run elsewhere on the network,
and b) have multiple instances - one of the major "drools" of
this will
be that both the TTS and VR components can be run on any or all of the
PC's on your LAN, meaning that wherever you have a PC, you can have both
a TTS and a VR zone, fully and seamlessly integrated with Homeseer, but
also providing completey independently addressable components.....

The new version (2.0) is slated for release around xmas/new year...

I for one, can't wait...

There's a review of HomeSeer on Atomatedhome...
http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/article799.html
It could do with an update though (any volunteers ?)

I'd like to add a review from a Harmony user too please?

Thanks

M.
