Hi,

I'd like to update my current X10 system. The CM11/12 is about 8 years
old. I had done some macros with the original active home but they
weren't flexible enough.

I've quite a few units left over from a cancelled pond automation
project so I want to exploit them to switch lights and other loads. At
the moment I only use a dawn/dusk controller to switch on various lights
- the rest is manual.

I would like some degree of automatic lighting plus some simple macros
to do security lights so it looks like someone is in. Whatever I do may
require more than can be done by the CM11/12 so has anyone run x10 PC
software on the same machine as Geovision as I can't have yet another pc
running all the time.....

Any comments anyone on the pros and cons of any of the software?

Thanks,

Simon
