Not certain what the printing is (Any I have seen have had no printing.)
but
if its just screen printed (I.e. On the surface.) then a reasonable cutting
polish should remove it with little work without ruining the surface.
T-cut is probably a little fine but something like Farecla G3 should do the
job. Available from any good motor factors.
Failing that (I.e. Heavy or engraved text.) 2000g wet and dry and then
polish with G3.
Finally finish the job of with some good old car polish.

HTH.

Many thanks,

Rob

Subject: [ukha_d] Removing lettering from Clipsal momentary switches

Hi all,

I need to get 15 Clipsal momentary switches to complete the house
installation, and typically you can't get blank Clipsal switches any
more!!

I remember this has been discussed before, and someone found a way
of removing the black lettering from a switch - but I can't find it.
Does anyone remember/know how?

I've also asked Clipsal UK to talk to their manufacturing plant in
Australia and find out how they'd suggest it's done....

Cheers,

Keith
