whoah .... this thing gives you a shell ! What shell is it ? When you type
the command 'env' what results do you get ? (might not exist).

Does TIVO have a serial port ?

Anyway since I know sod all about TIVO I can but guess .....

Through your env variables in /etc/profile (permissions being 755). Failng
that create a file called .profile in the directory you log into.

ps Where can I get one of these TIVO's from on the cheap ?
