RE: Dect Phones

I'm using Panasonic DECT phones for the last 6 months. Very happy with
them.
Have both http://tinyurl.com/5v695
and http://tinyurl.com/5u966 from
this
supplier (2 Phone lines!)
Phone book can be transferred between handsets (and in the answerphone
model
(515) the base station has its own 20 number phonebook)
Also the 515 can attach short recorded announcements to the base station
phone book so when the phone rings the phone announces who is calling!

Newer model http://tinyurl.com/5m2cf has voice
search on phone book and
separate base station.

They are at the expensive end the price range for phones but I think they
are worth it...

Subject: [ukha_d] Dect Phones

The time has come to replace the Binatone dect phones which we have at
home.
Can anyone recommend a good phone currently on market or about to hit
and/or
places to purchase.

Anything but Binatone (once bitten)
Needs to have handsfree function (can't hold a phone for ,more than a few
minutes)
caller ID, memory etc.
hopefully able to operate Comfort
and preferrably single phonebook (but anything considerd)

I noticed BT has the Equinox 1200 twin set, but haven't heard anything
about
them

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Campbell
