USB keyboard/mouse combination?

Hi All,
Set up a USB over cat5 extender last night so I have a USB port into
my AV server in the garage from the living room.
What I need now is a keyboard and pointer device for in the living
room over USB.
So I need a keyboard that can be plugged directly into a USB hub, and
preferably with a pointer device intergrated, so I only need to dig a
mouse out for the hefty work.
It would be nice for it to be compact and beshu (however that is
spelt)
Does anyone have or know of anything they would recommend?
Just can't be confident that anything I am looking at on the net is
USB capable. I am pretty sure my MS wireless desktop I have hidden
away in storage requires a PS2 for the keyboard.
