Did you select 'exact match only' and automatic mode? That seems to be the
preferred option; it copes well with full album downloads, but gets a bit
confused on individual songs, particularly if the album title is ambiguous.
I'm impressed though, it looks like it's getting 80%+ matched.

I was a bit wary of this (the reviews are mixed, to say the least!), but
I've got it chugging away at the moment, and it seems to be doing the
business.....not quick though, iTunes takes about 3 second per track to add
the artwork, so I reckon the PC will be tied up for the rest of the day.

iTunes actually embeds the artwork in the mp3/AAC file, which is something

can see both the merits and disadvantages off. :-S

Not sure how iTunes works (I've not used it) but if it just rips them to a
folders/files/etc try 'Album art cover downloader' as mentioned on the list
a while back. It uses Amazon too, but takes all the manual work out of it.

I'm in the process of burning all my CDs via iTunes; is there a quick way
to
automatically grab the artwork from somewhere? At the moment I'm just
finding each CD on Amazon or wherever and pasting it in, but I don't fancy
doing that for 500+ CDs...
