Re: Whole House Audio

on that note, there is another uk based company that supplies something
similar to this, but rather than us based, is uk.

to be honest, i'm not sure if it would cause any damage - however, i
wouldnt want to use my cyrus amp ...

i'm planning to use one of these for my bathroom speakers - just an
extension of the bedroom hifi... and will be using a really old marantz
amp.

Subject: [ukha_d] Whole House Audio

I'm trying to come up with a plan for a whole house audio system, but have
a quick question I hope someone can answer.

If I use a volume control such as
http://www.smarthome.com/8250.html
to control the volume of the speakers in each room, would it cause any
damage to an amplifier if it was driving a signal into a set of speakers
that had been turned off - possibly for periods of a couple of days ?

Thanks in advance
