todays challenge xbox into hotel tv

Hi all
I am sitting in a hotel room stuck in birmingham on a contract
I have an xbox with me and I am posting this through a blackberry
I bought a scart cable with me but the tv has no way to switch to the scart
from the front panel
The remote control talks only to a box on the wall which then talks to the
tv through the scart if I unplug it the tv drops back to tuner
So what pins on my scart should I short to force the tv to switch to my
scart
The only other solution I can think of is to modulate the xbox
