Re: xap on linux
It might be best to ask this on the xap_automation group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xap_automation/
In a nutshell, all of the apps at lidstone.net can run on linux natively.
If there's nothing there to suit you, what sort of application are you
looking for?
If you're looking to build your own app, most of the linux developer stuff
is on Patricks site, you might find a bit more in the wiki http://wiki.xapautomation.org and
it's worth asking on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xAP_developer/
As an interesting sidebar, it may be possible to run the .NET based xAPps
from http://www.xapframework.net
on linux using Mono http://www.mono-project.com/about/index.html
If anyone has time to try this out we'd love to hear about it.

Subject: [ukha_d] xap on linux
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what's the best method of sending xap messages from a
linux box...
I came across http://patrick.lidstone.net/ha/xAP/Downloads/Linux%20PC
Is there any other method I can use like say perl had a module in dev :
Net::xAP etc. Is there a php module ? etc.
Many thanks in advance.
SHaf
