Why doesn't she like orange?

Orange will match most tariffs if that's problem?

Hi All,

It's a bit of a long story but to condense it.

1. Bought my wife a new mobile phone on Orange tariff (she was on
Virgin)
2. She hated the phone and Orange
3. Had given Orange my PAC number the day I got the phone.
4. Took phone back the next day and got a cancellation note from the
carephonewarehouse on the temporary number.
5. Her phone today said 'Registration Failed'
6. Virgin say the number has been ported to Orange 7. Orange say that
unless
you have an Orange sim chip the 2 spare phones I have (both say something
like SIM registration failed) you can't make or receive calls.

Bottom line is I have two spare phones, a Virgin Mobile SIM and an active
Orange account (with the ported Virgin number), what can I do to get her
phone working? Orange say to call back tomorrow, get a PAC number, give it
to Virgin and wait 5 - 7 days!! You can imagine the wife's face right now
can't you!

TIA
Darren
