The new drivers say it works with Outlook - but I've not had it work yet
- I'll do a little digging.

Oh :-(

Was already to by SWMBO one for the kitchen when you said it only works
with
Outlook Express. Anyone confirm if it works with Outlook (2003 flavour)?

I've had one of these for a few months and given I work in IT I can
touch
type pretty quickly and I've not seen any latency issues.

Im generally pleased with it.

The only "niggles" I have are :

- When coming back to the PC after a period of inactivity, theres about
a 1
second delay whilst the keyboard "wakes up" and transmits your
first
keypress to the PC. Its fine after that.

- I often find the mouse runs out of juice at the most inappropriate
times,
and I end up having to keep 'topping it up' for a few mins if I want to
keep using the PC.

- The new email notification only appears to work with Outlook Express.
I
use Mozilla Thunderbird (far superior email client btw!)

The media pad certainly works through my floor, as I often go downstairs
to
watch some TV whilst Im waiting for a friend to log on, and that
notifies
me when they do. I've not really made use of the remote media controller
yet, although I guess I could use that in combination with my exstreamer
to
control playback in the living room, but I wont be as flexible as my
current X10 remote solution for that.

Cheers,

/Neil/
