could the valves be used for a central heating system to
shut pipes to radiators ?

is mine, a bit out of date as I now use one of ian's relay board and HV to
power it.

Sorry all missed the beginning of this thread ..
Can't seem to find where you found examples of this irrigation system.
I am interested in this and methods people have used.
Can you point me to (a) website(s) that give good examples?
