I had this error the other week... found that it was because setup couldn't
write to the hard
disk...

Don't know much about the raid controllers but have you got the drives
configured
correctly (ie master slave) as a drive configured as a slave when it should
be a master will
still be recognised but not writable by the system...

Only other thought is have you installed any 3rd party storage drivers when
promted in
the initial stages of setup??
