RE: IR7243
Li,
What's the difference between the IR543 and IR7243 besides the price (and
in-house conversion) as both seem to do All House codes?

If that wraps its in Home Automation / Kits - Product "IRAH"
from the site :-
"IRAHKIT - IRAH all-housecode kit
All-housecode upgrade kit to the IR543/IR7243. Comes in a kit of parts
only
with construction and installation instructions. This kit, when built and
installed, will allow all-housecode IR reception on the IR543/IR7243 via a
Philips Pronto IR remote control.
Please note that a good level of soldering skill is required for the
construction of the kit. This product is CE approved for use in the
EU."

I might be mistaken but I thought there used to be a diy kit you could
buy
to turn your IR7243 into an all house unit (an IR7243AH). Does anyone
still
do this? I couldn't find anything on any of the usual UK suppliers webs
sites of X10 stuff.
