Re: (OT):seeing Building work

Something like gotcha, supervisioncam etc. will do this. Alternatively as
the image is a url you could use something like xPL. Tony has a webcam
application that will capture a image and save it to a file or I have an
xpl app that will do file transfers.

Just sent up a recurring event in xPLHAL and away you go.

Either way if you want to download a single image rather than using a
specific camera program you need to use the pstill weblink rather than
using the ppush image feed file.

We are having some outside building work done at the moment and I'm
looking
to let my Mother see what is going on.

I've got an Mv1000 and a few cameras. One thought was to give her access
directly but I do not have a static IP & I havn't really got to grips
yet
with the ins and outs (security!!) of opening up my lan to the outside
world.

I thought maybe a safer option was to post a picture to the web site maybe
every 30 secs. Anyone point me in the direction of a good way of doing
this??

Or any other ideas would be great.

John
