Ahhhh, you want an unbalanced distribution amplifier.
My old house was wired just like that; I stuck twin screened cable
in (along with the leakiest TV coax known to man) in 1985 when I did
the Big Rewire.
What you need is one or more of these:

You can even get them in the UK now:
http://www.canford.co.uk/commerce/item_58-435_2001227.aspx
Though that price looks a little excessive. I got mine from
the 'states directly, it was several years ago. BTW, they are
specified for 24v but will run perectly well on 12v, I just used a
stsandard wallwart.
Kramer (amongst others) also do these, Composite Video will have
them, http://www.compositevideo.co.uk
but you actually have to talk
to these people - the website is not helpful, other than providing a
phone number.
Of course, they are a ripoff; all you need is a line level buffer
with a low impedence output, and feed each outgoing coax via a 220R
resistor. Maplins used to do such a module, intended for the output
stage of a mixer, but a quick look on the website and I couldnt find
it.
David.
