Chances of pulling through a new cable using the old one to draw it through
is slim & non, and it it separates while under the floor then the
original
cable is lost too :-(
I'd thought about re-siting the box in the attic and using the RF output
but
I then cannot hook up the optical DD output to my surround set up that is
under the TV.
I've checked out the Stacker/Destacker & that looks like the solution,
so
now I've just got to get Sky to agree to supply and install the Sky+ unit,
upgrade the LNB and connect the "old" Sky box to the bedroom
leaving me to
install the Stacker/Destacker when they've finished. At the moment they are
refusing to allow the install without the second run of cable to the main
Sky location but I'm sure I will wear them down in time!
Thanks to all who responded.
