Thanks for the advice. I should explain that I  have never done any
networking before; that is why I wanted to get a couple of Belkin ready-
made cables and just get a couple of pcs on the same  table-top linked
before doing anything adventurous. I am still unsure about the ends. Belkin
sent me jpegs of booted and snagless cables but the pictures were so small
they looked the same. Can anyone explain the difference and tell me which
is best? Do you have a link to a clear picture of them? Thanks.
