I would be very interested to know where this is going with Z-Wave as
well I will be building in about 6 mths and have to decide on X10 or
Z-Wave but I want DIN Modules and of course in240 volt variety

I registered with one of the HA web sites a few months ago (can't
remember
which one) for z-wave updates, but so far there's been diddly in the way
of
updates.  Either it's still vapourware, or they're adopting the TiVo
marketing model ;-)

So, does anyone have the inside track on what's happening with Z-Wave?
Will
DIN modules (or similar physical packages) be available within the next
few
months? Will Z-Wave ever make it big or is it destined to be yet another
hopeful but not quite getting there?

OTOH, should I just go with X10 and be done with it!!!?
