I have - one of the first things I checked. I don't have an alternate DNS
specified but then I haven't done that on any of the PCs on my home
network..

Sounds like a DNS problem ..
Have you set up the preferred DNS server and alternate DNS server ip
addresses in your TCP/IP settings?
