I know Siemens are about to start selling their DECT phones etc directly to
the UK public in a few months time (rather than through BT and their
horrible looking versions!).

These phones have features like downloadable phonebook and ring tones etc -
useful in a HA environment.

May be worth asking the Siemens people if this kind of technology is
included in their standard demonstration kit?
