Bargain (tm) printer?

Just in case you're in the market for a semi-decent photo printer, PC World
have the HP Photosmart 7762 at half price (=A399) for the next few days, or
more likely, until they run out of stock.  It has an on-board card-reader
for most of the formats, plus an ickle LCD screen to preview the photo.  No
good for me as I faff around with them before printing, but very
SWMBO-friendly!

I've tried it this afternoon, and compared to my Epson 890, which had me
near-suicidal last weekend whilst I was trying to print to the roll of
phot=
o
paper (imagine a printer spewing out paper until the roll runs out and
you'll get the right image), it's a lot better.  Having had a few Epsons
an=
d
a couple of HPs, I think the latter are slightly more robust.  I know the
ink is slightly more expensive, but the company pays for that ;-)
