RE: Serial VFD troubles



Nope, that's not the correct behaviour - on power-up, it should place a
single flashing underscore cursor in the 1,1 position.

It should only enter test mode if the serial data pin is at 5V.

The display is now working and I'm now setting about writing a JaLCDs
driver
for it.
One query though...on power-up, if the com port isn't open, it goes into
test mode. Is that right?
