Hiya,
IIRC, this could be two things happening here.
1: xlobby (or winamp) may well be doing a lookup from filenames or ID
tags on FreeDB or similar and getting the cover art from the web (drop
your net connection and see if you still get them .
2: IDv2 tags in mp3 files allows you to add cover art into the mp3
itself and its displaying those.

either way - its going to be hit and miss on whether you get the cover
art - unless you go through your collection with something like 'tag and
rename' and add cover art to your mp3s yourself (and xlobby supports
IDv2 embedded cover art !:).
