Does anyone know any tricks to try before I go hunting a new laptop
battery, the one I have fell out when I knocked my lappy off the coffee
table, and since then it doesn't have enough battery life for me to carry
it downstairs, then for me to go back upstairs and fetch the power supply
because I forgot it.

Does it matter that I leave it plugged in all the time, could it have been
the blow from hitting the floor that broke it?

And finally, assuming it is goosed, where do you guys buy laptop batteries
from?
